Switron Control switches are cam operated switches which are ideal for use in industrial applications like tripping and closing operations on circuit breakers for local-remote/auto–manual selection of breaker operations. The versatile design of these switches enable infinite switching combination. Switron control switches are manually operated and robust in design incorporating double break butt contact.

Breaker Control Switches:

Breaker control switches are essentially spring return switches having spring return from either sides of neutral position at 45o  other switching angle such as 30o, 60o, 90o can be provided with following feature.

1. Lost Motion Contacts (NAT & NAC)

In addition to main breaker contact, lost motion contacts can be provided at rear side of switch that indicates last operated position of breaker. These contacts are also known Bell alarm contacts. Any number of such NAC & NAT.

2. Sequence Locking Device

This is mechanical device incorporated in the spring return switch which prevents any two successive operation generally successive closing operation are prevented, keeping trip free.

3. Central Key Lock.

To prevent unauthorized operation of the switch, center key lock can be provided on the top switch. It is lockable only in four positions at 90o (0o, 90o, 180o, 270o) and also at -45o, +45o.

Two verities of lock are available

  • Level lock (L)
  • Tee type or knob type lock (T)
